Apollo (formally Poncho)
We acquired Apollo 3-08 at auction. He is a 3 ½ years old 16H Ten Walker.
He is still growing and is now almost 16.3H He had a shyness problem with one ear but other then that he is almost perfect. Not many people considered adopting him because he is gaited and young but, he is actually very safe to ride.
Sara Friedman adopted Apollo in May shortly after she started working for us. She is one of our best most professional volunteers. Not only does she have extensive equine experience and skill with young equine enthusiasts but she is a computer whiz. She uses these skills to help MHSR grow.
Sara and Apollo are a match made in heaven. Sara volunteers at our barn with horsemanship clinics and riding lessons when she is not riding Apollo.
She plans on showing Apollo in the near future. Good luck to them both in the future!
