Bob has been adopted!

LITTLE BOB
Bob came home to us from the auction Jan 07 . His owners bartered him for the fee of towing home our other horses. They said take him no cost. We found Bob to be a handsome 1.5yr old gelding but very spunky. He had bad manners and was never in the cross ties. Our farrier & my husband and I couldn't hold him down to do his feet.
I took some tips from people who worked with yearlings and patterned him over and over.
I let him know that we wouldn't hurt him. Also, our trainer Chelsea loved him and showed him how to behave.
We worked with Bob 3-4 times a week until he became a sweet, fun horse. Bob improved so much that we were able to transport him to an Easter show in our church and he walked proudly down the church asile without fear. His part was to be the "donkey" that Jesus rode into Jerusalem on. Funny thing, the Church couldn't find a donkey who would step into the
Church!
Anyway, we are very proud of the work Chelsea Russ did with him. Bob really blossomed under her care. He was adopted to a lovely family this past summer in Lititz.
Chelsea and Bob bonding!
