Horsemanship

Owning a horse is a big responsibility which requires much time and cost. Mt. Hope Horse Rescue takes pride in offering Horsemanship Clinics, which are meant to help educate both adults and children prior to acquiring their first horse. The Clinics are also wonderful refresher courses for those who have not been around horses for a period of time and want to become reacquainted on how to care for horses.

Classes are held on a regular basis and are offered for both Basic and Intermediate Horsemanship. This is "hands-on" training and the cost is $25 per session. The Clinics are geared for children ages 10 and up. Please call 717-575-5635 to schedule a date and time that is convenient for you.
