Donation Information
Caring for neglected, abused, abandoned and slaughter-bound horses is an expensive endeavor. Each of our horses cost on average each month between $250 and $450, depending on the horse's individual needs. The costs include include grain, hay, supplements, bedding, farrier services, dental services and veterinary care. Won't you please consider helping us to help these well-deserving horses! We will gladly accept donations of any new or slightly used tack. If the tack cannot be used, it will be sold or traded for equipment that is currently needed.
Financial Donation Requests
Any amount that you can donate will help us to help the horses - ALL donations add up. Did you know that -
$10 - Will buy one bale of hay and feed 2 horses for 1 day.
$10 - Will buy 1 bag of grain and feed 4 horses for 2 days.
$12 - Will buy 1 tube of equine wormer and worm 1 horse for 1 month.
$35 - Will trim 1 horse's hooves.
$55 - Will pay an emergency vet service call charge for 1 horse.
$75 - Will pay for corrective shoes for 1 horse.
$100 - Will pay for 1 chiropractic treatment for 1 horse.
$200 or more - Can save 1 horse from going to slaughter!
