Adoption Information
Thank you for considering adopting one of our horses!
By adopting a horse, you make a commitment to take care of the horse for the rest of its life.
HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT ADOPTING?
- Persons intersted in adopting a horse must complete an Adoption Application & Agreement and return it to us either by fax or mail. The Adoption Application requires personal and contact information. The Adoption Agreement portion of the form explains the terms of the agreement.
- Additional information that is required for an adoption application to be processed:
- Valid drivers license
- Phone number and address of stable where adopted horse will be boarded
- Financial proof of affordibility to care for adopted horse such as recent paystub
- Proof of residency; must be at residence for 2 or more years
- Marital status information
- Two personal references
- Name and telephone number of the nearest relative not living in same residence
- You must come to our facility at least two or three times to work with and bond with the horse proving that you and the horse are the right fit for each other.
- Payment for an adopted horse must be in cash or by cashier's check.

ITS THAT SIMPLE!!
Because each horse's welfare is our deep concern, not everyone who applies for adoption qualifies. We exercise, groom and care for our horses six times a week. They are brought into our barn in bad weather or perform whatever is required for their well-being. Our staff of horse trainers, helpers and volunteers care for each animal to the highest standards. Every horse is up-to-date on its shots and foot care - we don't take shortcuts!

If you would like to consider adopting one of our horses, please click on the icon above "Adoption Agreement" to download a form which contains the necessary personal and contact information to be considered eligible for adoption. After completing the form, please mail or fax it back to us. The agreement also reviews the terms of an adoption. Thank you for your interest in helping us help these well-deserving horses.
